Salon & Spa Etiquette
Cancellation Policy
We require a minimum of 24 hours cancellation notice. You may be asked to pay for your service if proper notice is not given. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require prepayment before next appointment can be made. Parties or individuals with 3 or more services booked must give 48-hour cancellation notice and will be required to leave a credit card number or gift card number for payment of 50% of the service total if 48-hour cancellation notice is not given. This is done as a courtesy to our technicians who have reserved and prepared their time for you.
Cell Phones and Pagers
As a courtesy to all our guests and technicians and in order to maintain a relaxing environment, we ask that all cell phones, pagers and electronic games be turned off.
Children
For your enjoyment and the consideration of our other guests, children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the salon and day spa unless they are receiving treatment themselves. We ask that young children be carefully looked after for their own safety and to prevent discomfort to fellow customers.
Arriving Early
We kindly ask you to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled service. This will enable you time to check in, relax & rewind.
Arriving Late
Arriving late will deprive you of valuable treatment time. To avoid delaying our next client, your treatment time will end at the specified time regardless of how late you arrive or you may choose to rebook.
What to Bring
We encourage you to complete your spa service with a makeup application or enjoy a hair service with one of our professionals. You may wish to bring your own personal toiletries and makeup. Please bring sandals if you are receiving a pedicure.
What to Wear During Body Treatments
For your personal comfort, you may wish to bring an old bathing suit or an old set of undergarments.
Comfort
This is your time and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it's the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music...just ask us.
Jewelry and Valuables
Please leave such items at home. While there are lockers available in the spa, Gloss Salon does not assume any liability for personal items.
Gift Certificates are Available
Gloss Salon is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and expire one year from date of purchase.
Concerns
If your are unhappy with your service, please notify your technician or a manager and the problem will be remedied to the best of our ability. However, cash refunds will not be given for services.
All services performed by licensed professionals. We observe the strictest of sanitation practices in order to protect our clients and our employees. Consultations for all services are free of charge unless otherwise stated. Walk-ins are welcome, but to ensure availability of services it is recommended that you schedule your appointment well in advance of your visit. Prices and services are subject to change at any time without notice.
