I graduated with my massage license from the Omaha School of Massage in October 1997. I am currently a part time level 2 massage therapist and have worked at Gloss Salon & Day Spa since January 2002. I specialize in Swedish Massage, Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy Massage, Body Treatments and Spray Tans. I recently attended a workshop on Structural Muscular Balancing. It is a method of improving neuromuscular communication in the body, rebalancing energy flow in the tissues, and releasing tension. I will be incorporating this method into my massages as needed. I love being a massage therapist because I enjoy working with people and helping my clients improve their mental and physical health.

Hi! My name is Allie and I am a licensed massage therapist. I recently graduated from Omaha School of Massage and Healthcare in August 2012. I recently graduated from the Omaha School of Massage and Healthcare in December 2012. I absolutely love what I do! I specialize in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, and Sports Massage. I have also been trained to do ear candling and body treatments. I am currently part-time while I attend Creighton to receive my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. I've been a licensed cosmetologist for nine years and joined the Gloss team in March of 2003. I am a level 4A Redken Master Specialist. I attended Capitol School of Hairstyling in 2001. Upon graduation, I have been attending advanced classes in cutting and coloring throughout the years. In the fall of 2008, I finished all the classes in order to become a Redken Master Specialist. In January of 2009, I was lucky to go to the Redken Symposium in Las Vegas and attended classes taught by top Redken artists including Sam Villa, Patrick Mcivor and Rodney Cutler. I was able to bring back many new ideas and techniques to the salon and my guests. My goal this year is to attend the Redken Exchange in New York City and take Redken's Color Certification test to become a Redken Certified Haircolorist.
I love being able to give each guest the look they are striving for and the tools they need to achieve that look. One of my favorite services to do is color because there are so many different ways to use it to create a new look. If you don't want to change the style or cut of you hair but you want a new look, color is the way to go! I like to keep up on new styles and trends to share them with my guests in a Lookbook that is updated seasonally.
In October 2010 I was able to go to New York City to the Redken Exchange. I took the Redken Certified Hair Colorist Exam. It is a three-part exam that tests our knowledge and technical skills in Redken Haircolor. It is also one of the most recognized and elite status in the Redken brand. In December 2010, I received notice that I am now a Redken Certified Hair Colorist!!!
In December 2010, I also took a class in Pureology Certification. Which means I am thoroughly knowledgeable in their product line. I look forward to using my skills and knowledge on my guests!

I have been a licensed cosmetologist for 4 years and have been at Gloss Salon since 2008. I am a level 3 Redken Certified Stylist. I graduated from the Salon Professional Academy in 2007. I am Pureology certified and will be working on receiving my Redken Master Specialist Certification in October 2012. I am looking forward to attending the Redken Symposium in January 2013. It is the largest hair convention in the world. The classes are taught by the top Redken artists in the industry! Education is really important to me because it allows me to stay up-to-date with trends in the beauty and fashion world. I worked with Jessica Seeley of Seeley Designs, styling hair and make-up for the 2011 Fall Fashion Show, Omaha Fashion Week, as well as a local photo shoot for the Village Pointe Wine Festival Fashion Show. I specialize in highlighting, coloring, men' s and women's hair cuts, special occasion styles, make-up, manicures, pedicures, and facial waxing. I have been a stylist for 7 years and joined the Gloss team in September 2008. I am currently a level 2 stylist. I specialize in highlighting, color, cutting, facial waxing, manicures, and pedicures. Education is important in my career as a stylist. I have recently attended two foil placement class in which I learned new techniques in color placement. I just became a Certified Redken Specialist. The Certified Redken Specialist class consisted of product knowledge, specifics on ways to cut hair, and color applications. I am also certified in Pureology. I learned detailed information about what the products are made of and what products will benefit you. Come in and see me!

While in school, I received numerous awards and became a member of the Capitol Elite Program. In the beauty industry, it is vital to stay current in both education and fashion. This is why I take as many classes as I can to stay on top of new trends, so i can keep you looking great! It is very important to me to educate my guests on the products and services that will best fit their needs. Along with that, I show all my guests how I styled their hair or applied their make-up so they can do it at home and look like they just walked out of the salon every day.

While attending Xenon, I had the opportunity to work along-side Brian and Sandra Smith, two talented Matrix artists at the 2012 Salon Centric Show. It was such an eye-opening experience! I have also participated in numerous benefits including Haircuts for the Less Fortunate, Spooktacular, and Stronger Women, Stronger World. What do I love the most you may ask? I love it all!
